Marlies Verhoeven is the co-founder and CEO of The Cultivist. In 2006, she moved to New York and joined the Mission of Belgium to the United Nations. She then worked for eight years as vice president and global director of loyalty marketing at Sotheby’s, where she met Daisy Peat. Together, they launched and globally managed the Sotheby’s where she met Daisy Peat. Together, they launched and globally managed the Sotheby’s preferred program before founding The Cultivist in June 2015. TLmag spoke with Verhoeven about unusual experiences, personal services and professional coincidences.
